The first day of school

This year Jordyn and Kayden got accepted to a charter school that we have been on the waiting list for. We were so excited to get chosen! It was tense . . . you have to play the lottery to get in. Seriously. They put our names in a database and the lucky ones got chosen. We didn't get in right at first. I was so bummed. But after school already started, a couple of students didn't show up and we were next on the list!! Kayden isn't thrilled about having to wear a uniform, but I am loving it! They are both making great new friends and already performing better on their test scores. We hope to having them here through 8th grade. ~ amy
